Why Paying it Forward Reaps Many Rewards on Social Media

Why Paying it Forward Reaps Many Rewards on Social Media

Does not it feel wonderful and causes you to smile when you’re acknowledged for an accomplishment? When someone is really kind to you without any intention of reciprocation? I recently discovered how wonderful that feeling is.

When eVision Media won an Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence award at the end of November, my Facebook feed was inundated with hundreds of likes, congratulations and well wishes. It truly was overwhelming to be the receiver of such incredible heart-felt wishes!

Being on the receiving end of such attention is not only flattering but also have me deeply touched that so many people thought kindly of my team and I. So much so that it has me ponder my own actions, or inactions as the case may be, on social media. Why Paying it Forward Reaps Many Rewards on Social Media

How many times did I scroll past someone sharing their good news … too busy to pause long enough to congratulate them?

How many times did I just hit the “like” button and move on after someone posted a huge victory of their own?

Too many times.

So many that I have a decision on Social Media too. Now I make a conscious effort to pause a little message of kindness on my social media channels. Whether it’s a quick “Congratulations!” Or a response to a question I’ve received over the years. Will you join me?

Here’s 6 Ways You Can Pay It Forward on Social Media

1. When you see someone sharing good news, do not just hit the “Like” button, go that extra mile and leave a comment about how happy you are for them. It’s ok that you do not know this person personally, it’s social media where your connection is all that’s needed to pay a little kindness forward.

This simple gesture can make a big difference in the other person’s life. You have no idea what you are going through and your message of kindness could make their day. Why Paying it Forward Reaps Many Rewards on Social Media

2. When someone retweets or shares your content to their followers, send them a message of thanks.

Your acknowledgment will go a long way in their eyes, and they will remember how kind you are to them and will encourage them to continue their acts of sharing kindness. 3. Retweet and share great content of others and be sure to give them credit for posting such great stuff.

This kind of acknowledgment could be all that’s needed to give them the confidence they need to keep creating good stuff.

4. Participate in contests that you really wish to be a part of. A lot of thought and planning goes into setting up a contest so show your appreciation for the opportunity to win something and submit your entry.

Imagine if you are holding a contest and how much excitement you will feel when you see so many people participating. Share that gift of excitement to others.

5. Tell someone you appreciate them. It does not have to have any strings attached … just let them know how much you admire them and appreciate being connected with them on Social Media and why.

Would not it be great to receive such an unprovoked message? You can make someone else feel great too – how cool is that!

6. When you see someone is struggling or has asked a question you can answer, help.

Sharing your expertise with others is a wonderful way to pay it forward and help someone else out at the same time.

By making a conscious effort in performing these acts of kindness on social media, you will not only help make the world a better place (after all, does not the world need more kindness in it?) But you will also see a positive shift both personally and professionally in your own life.

There are plenty of other ways you can pay it and share kindness with others on social media. Help me grow this list by posting in the comments section below your own ideas. And do not forget to implement them!

Tips for choosing the right oberteil bikini for yourself

Tips for choosing the right oberteil bikini for yourself

Surfing is considered as one of the loving sports by beach lovers and nothing can beat surfing with bikinis. While the surf season is near, it becomes mandatory for every female surfer to know how to choose the right oberteil bikini for himself. Wearing a bikini while surfing is a pretty challenging task because with every dive, the base of your body can be rolled over, your nipples tend to come out with full view. Many women have the worst surfing experience and also suffered wardrobe damage so it is important to choose the right bikini for surfing. Given below are some tips that make your choice easier. Do • Find cross back or racer bikini: this type of bikini is considered best because it keeps your assets closer to your body. It evenly distributes the weight of your breasts on your back and also around the shoulders. Thus, this reduces the chances of terrible damage.
• Top-style bikinis are on the way: if you have large breasts, this bikini is perfect because it provides creases and prevents excess fat in your breasts. It helps you to concentrate on the position of the wave rather than constantly check your breast position. It comes without straps so you do not have to worry about getting off as you pile up.

Tips for choosing the right oberteil bikini for yourself

• A thick shoulder strap is advantageous: a thick shoulder strap feels comfortable on your shoulders.

• Look for wide hip ass buttocks: wide hip band prevents the bikini from falling while you dive. Try to buy buttocks with draw-strings, this will help tighten the butt correctly.

• Buy a tighter bikini base: your bikini butt tends to stretch like your jeans. Bikini base without straps can make you trouble.

• Wisely choose your fabric: bikinis that have rubber added to the edges tend to hold tightly to the handle on your skin. The stick-cloth bikini keeps you inside your bikini every time you fall.

Do not

Avoid a bikini with a zipper: when you buy a bikini sports winsuit for damage, make sure there is no naughty front zip. Some neoprene bikinis come with front zip. As you surf, you’ll lie on a zip that may turn out to be uncomfortable. Similarly, a bikini with metallic detail is also not recommended because it can dig into you as well as your board.

• Bikini light color: avoid wearing bright white or bikini color. This tends to make your skin look darker and bright colors can change color easily leaving some serious sunburn.

• Customize with fashion: bikini embroidery or bikini stitching and crochet are fashionable but while you are surfing, you meet with sand and candles. It’s stuck all over your body and thus ends up ruining your bikini.

• Avoid side-tie bikini pads: a side-tie bikini pad is highly discouraged because no matter how good you are on the knots, finally roll down and detach.

• The triangular bikini is not large: this type of bikini comes off when you meet the tide. It is always advisable to wear a surfing bikini that has both solid glasses put together. Tips for choosing the right oberteil bikini for yourself

• Never wear a bikini without straps and also a bikini with underwire.

4 Important Questions to Ask When Looking at New Houses for Sale

There are so many questions you should ask, including the four listed below. Otherwise, you may find yourself in a 30 year mortgage that you really want to get out of when you buy one of the new homes for sale at Lemont.
1. Does Everyone Get Their Own Room or Him?

Space is the main reason people move, and most of the time it needs to be more places. Either way, ask yourself if everyone needs his own room. You want to buy a new house big enough to accommodate your entire family, so it’s time to give all the children their own places, or do they continue to share? What about the future? Are you planning to move old parents in the near future? How many bedrooms do you need?

2. Do Extra Space Require?

Another question you should ask when looking at a new home for sale at Lemont is whether you need additional rooms. This is not a dining room, family room, etc. This office, game room, sunroom and so on. Do you need additional rooms to ensure you will be happy in your home for a long time? If so, be sure to add it to your room count so you can find a place to stay that has everything you need.

3. What about the bathroom?

The bathroom is the room most fought for at home, so there may be time to get that extra. Do you think it’s crazy to have a house with more bathrooms than a bedroom? Do you have teenage daughters? Yep – not at all crazy. Keep your peace and sanity by counting how many bathrooms you need and then adding that extra to the tally. You never know when you have a guest.

4. House or Property? Which is more important? 4 Important Questions to Ask When Looking at New Houses for Sale

Finally, what you want to be bigger, your home or your property. Some people are fine with smaller homes provided they have lots of land; Others do not care if they are practically on top of their neighbors during their big house. In 1999, Saint-Émilion was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it’s easy to see why. The history of grape-growing in the region is like no other, as the taste proves. Saint-Émilion, the oldest and largest appellation in Bordeaux, dictates over 5,500 hectares of land to growing grapes.

On board Rosa, you’ll cruise along the Dordogne River, soaking up the sights, smells and tastes of Bordeaux. Learn all about the varieties of wines produced here, from Médoc to the left to the vast selection found on the right bank of the river.

Types of Grape

Two of the most widely grown grapes in Saint-Émilion are the Merlot and the Cabernet Franc. Differing in taste and structure, these varieties have something for every connoisseur’s palate.

Merlot is composed of a rich, full-bodied combination of flavours with hints of plum, blackberries, dark cherries and chocolate, while Cabernet Franc is lighter and floral. The latter has become increasingly popular in recent years, due to its ability to thrive in spite of changes in climate.

Saint-Émilion Soil

Wines vary greatly in this region, which is due in large part to the differences in soil from vineyard to vineyard. For the most part, Grand Cru wines that are produced in this area are grown in soils that are rich in limestone, which can be found in the hills that surround Saint-Émilion. This greatly benefits the grapes, as the soil has vital minerals, such as calcium, that are needed to help vines grow. What’s more, its consistency provides excellent drainage.

Alternatively, the soil around Canon-La-Graffeliére boasts a sandy texture, which produces widely enjoyed and lighter-bodied tipples. When you join one of the many wine tours on offer, you can discover even more about the growing conditions and flavours of the region.

Itinerary Imperatives

When travelling through France, wine tours must be on any itinerary. You’ll be able to wow friends and family back home with your extensive knowledge at dinner parties and events. Will luxury yachting go green

Will luxury yachting go green

Driven by electric propulsion and a radical aesthetic, the EAU concept electric luxury yacht by Tjep, reimagines a cleaner future for the luxury yacht industry…
The impact of leisure boating on marine environments is a well-documented problem. Even as regulations seek to alleviate the issue, engine emissions and the incorrect disposal of waste by yachts contribute to marine pollution. Dutch designer Frank Tjepkema proposes to veto this with the introduction of the EAU concept electric luxury yacht.

Considering the growing projection of the automobile industry towards electrically-operated vehicles, Frank anticipates the same influence in the yacht building industry. He prophesies that although the pace of progress is extremely low, developments in areas such as electric cargos, hydrogen trucks and electric cars (TESLA) will find their way to the luxury yacht industry ultimately, by increasing the availability of large volume on-board electricity storage and charging points in ports. In such a scenario, questions Frank, “Would it not be nice if the leisure category, where there’s an abundance of capital, would lead the way? Why should enjoyment be combined with heavy pollution?”

Taking a step in the desired direction, Frank has conceptualised EAU to precision – at a length of 63 m, width of 13.5 m and beam of 18 m. Designed to have 100% electric propulsion with a speed of 25 knots, the yacht will host 12 cabins, a swimming pool and a helipad, its hull and superstructure crafted from aluminium. The future for a green yacht industry looks bright since Tjep. has been shortlisted for Yacht Concept over 40 Metres Award in The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2018.

But, the EAU yacht isn’t just at the technological frontier of this industry; it also floats aesthetic qualities that represent the ultimate in cleanliness. Pushing simplicity and refinement to its limit, the design is inspired by the qualities of water. The design’s most striking element is a water droplet-shaped wheelhouse that floats like an abstract sculpture above the deck. The yacht also uses familiar elements from traditional yacht craftsmanship, such as the way in which wooden planks form the layered lines along the hull of wooden ships.

Underwater Shipwrecks: The Most Dramatic of Dive Sites

Underwater Shipwrecks: The Most Dramatic of Dive Sites

Whether you’re a seasoned diver or just starting out, there’s an undeniable romanticism and sense of adventure around wreck dives that you won’t be able to get elsewhere. The excitement builds while you’re in a speedboat zipping through the immense expanse of blue, wind whipping your hair and you into a frenzy. Often you’ll not spot any signs of civilisation as far as the eye can see and then, suddenly, with all your gear securely in place, it’s overboard and underwater into a magical world where ghostly ship remains loom as if from nowhere, waiting to be explored…
If this sounds tempting, the reality is much better. Do these thrilling historical sites offering spectacular dives, stunning reefs and enchanting folklore call to you? Great: here are three of the best this fine planet has to offer.

Townsville, Australia

The Great Barrier Reef is the a fabulous dive site any diver worth their salt has explored, and this British-built luxury passenger ship which fell victim to a cyclone back in 1911 is arguably its crowning jewel. Teeming with marine life and a spectacular ship in itself, if you’re only ever going to take the plunge with one wreck dive ever then this should be a strong contender.

Grand Anse, Grenada

The Bianca C has become known as the Titanic of the Caribbean after it sank in 1961 due to a boiler room explosion and consequent fire which lasted several days. At 180 metres (600 feet) long, this is the largest shipwreck you can dive in the Caribbean. If you have your full wreck dive insurance certifications then you’re in for even more fun as you’ll have multiple chances to enter the wreck.

Chuuk Lagoon, Federated States of Micronesia

Are you on the hunt for a travel destination which boasts a true wealth of wreck diving options? Then look no further than Micronesia. This little section of paradise in Oceania is undoubtedly the place for you. In years gone by it was thought to be the most formidable of Japanese strongholds in the whole of the Pacific during WWII, and Chuuk Lagoon was completely devastated after an American attack on the base back in 1944. 249 aircraft, 32 merchant ships and 12 warships sank, with over 20 wrecks having been discovered since. You’ll be like a kid in a sweetshop deciding which dives to do — some of the most popular include the 500 foot (153 metre) Shikoku Maru and the 440 foot (134 metre) Fujikawa Maru.

Mayday Mayday!

Not every travel insurance covers you for wreck diving, and some dive insurance won’t cover you below 18 metres. Let’s Go Insure’s dive insurance provides cover for up to 50 metres as long as you have the necessary qualifications. Get in touch with our team today to make sure your once in a lifetime dive insurance needs are met.
